I love this “I like the flowers” song

I love this song by Beat Boopers Children. After I heard it for the first time, I was hooked. It’s even got hula dancer!

I like the flowers, I like the daffodils, I like the mountains, I like the rolling hills, I like the fire side, when the lights are low – bum-di-yada, bum-di-yada, bum-di-yada, bum-di-yada…

Memorial Day

We made our grave site delivery to Diamond Head Cemetary on Memorial Day and boy, what a sight.  Graves were doted with flowers and flags.  I would say the graves are almost as decorated with flowers as much to during Easter or Chinese Ching Ming.

Bouquet that is not real but unreal

We had a special request to re-create this flower bouquet below.  It is a bouquet of stephanotis, orange and pink rose with hypericum.   It is not made of real flowers as you can see…..

And here is what we came up with.  It is just as unreal as the not so real one.

Congrat to the grads

Lei giving (piling) is a common a scene at graduations.  Consider lei with big visual impact such as the single orchids, carnation, and plumeria that are big in size and bright in color. Of course price are very reasonable for the tuberose, heea, sea grapes and ti-leaves lei but with less visual impact.  Then again, it is not about visual impact with lei giving.  It’s about sharing the aloha and giving congratulation.  Have fun at the graduation.  Take plenty pictures, okay.

Christina Style Orchid Lei and Angle Style Orchid Lei (shown above)

By the way, we are on your way to Waikiki Shell.  So you can simply drop in, pick up the lei, then head on down to the Shell. Here are some of the schoolss that are having their graduation at the Shell.
