Making an Orchid Arrangement
It’s not easy to make a round orchid arrangement. Each orchid blossom has to be wired and taped - creating an artificial stem, so to speak.Â

I am making a bouquet and is interested to how you keep it fresh so that it last for a couple of hours. I would also like to learn how to make wristlets. Do you have classes for me to take?
Thank you,
Violet

Dear Violet,
Most bouquets should last the whole wedding day. Like any arrangements, leave it in the refrigerator (not in front of fan outlet) before use (exception is tropical arrangement). During your wedding day, keep you bouquet away from heat and direct sun (when not in use). Open stem bouquet also gives you the benefit, where you can set it in a vase of shallow water to keep it hydrated. Sorry, we are not currently offering any classes on bouquet and wristlet arrangements There is a lot of DIY on youtube where you can learn. But my suggestion is that if budget allows, it is best to leave the bride’s bouquet to the professional and take your saving on the centerpieces. SBH.
